Valentine's Day Drive - Christchurch

On a beautiful sunny day four MR2s met for a drive around Lyttelton Harbour - one MkI, and three MkIIs. The drive around the bays was fun, and the views spectacular. We stopped in Diamond Harbour for lunch at the reserve, and a photo shoot.

The return trip, over the hills via Gebbies Pass, was a much better road for driving. It was one of the first opportunities to really open up our MkI, and showed us the fun of owning a ‘2!

At a brief meeting up in Halswell to end the trip, plans were laid down for the next drive - to Kaikoura. Then it was all head home to enjoy the rest of Valentine’s Day.
