In order to help owners find answers to their 'MR2 specific' questions and generally chat with other MR2 enthusiasts, the club has an email list and a web based forum. Members from around the country (and overseas) are on it, and it's simple to use. Follow the instructions below to subscribe. When you send an email to the list, it is copied and sent to every person on the list. They can then reply directly to you, or to the list. This provides for an excellent method of discussions, problem solving and general chit chat about MR2s! Join up and have a chat!

What's the Difference between the E-Mail list and the Forum?

The E-Mail list is a simple mail system that once you are subscribed, all messages are sent only via normal SMTP E-Mail to the address you register. Any posts sent to the list will be mailed to you, and you have the option of replying to the sender or the whole list simply by sending replies back to mr2list@mr2.org.nz.

The Forum is a web based Bulletin Board. You have to be able to browse the web to access it, but it serves a similar purpose. It has more features than the simple e-mail list and some people prefer this form of messaging.

At this time there is no method for making sure messages from the Forum are posted to the email list and vice versa, but the MR2OC administrators are working on this to try and make it possible.

As this list is provided by the MR2 Owner's Club of New Zealand, Inc we reserve the right to warn or remove anyone who does not comply with these rules. We also reserve the right to moderate the list as required.

To Subscribe to the E-Mail List
To get on the list, send an email to mr2list-subscribe@mr2.org.nz with no subject message and no body message. It'll reply to you with some instructions. Follow them and you'll be on the list.

To Unsubscribe from the E-Mail List
To get off the mailing list, send a blank email to mr2list-unsubscribe@mr2.org.nz and it’ll ask you for confirmation. Send that confirmation, and you are off the list.

To post to the list, just send your email to mr2list@mr2.org.nz
