Really interesting concept here, pretty much a ct20b housing with the interal bits worked like a td06. If the tests go well and they show good results I might actually consider getting one later on next year

http://www.mr2.com/forums/chico-race-works/Toyota-MR2-27757-crw-ctd06-stock-350-400-whp-turbo-coming-very-soon.html

Opinions? Price doesn't seem that bad, compared to some other turbo kits out there and the advantage of being a direct bolt on

i have been thinking about doing that...

i was looking on the MR2.com/forums this morning and saw that... but also have a look at when they orginaly posted the thread up... early 2008 !!

(ok... im not at work this week at all .... But)

Nope...
There is nothing Alltech can do for the CT20b apart from just doing a rebuild on them and replacing the Ceramic T/shaft for a Incol version.

a very rough guide ...as is said above im not at work this week...
the rebuild we did on Craig,s ct20b was around the $860 nzd mark..
this included steel SWA, kit, labour & balance.

oh craig's ct20b is a replaced steel wheel instead of ceramic?

(Goes off to car with a magnet)

Might explain the slight lag under 3k rpm thn.

Yes... you were informed of that when you asked me about rebuilding it.

a magnet wont tell you nothing...

Slight lag under 3k.. sounds better than a CT26 or even the ST185 RC CT26 i have in the Black MR2... that is a pig.

You may as well set fire to your money if you send it to Jeffrey Burke.
