Another Dead AW11-Zebra
A Gold AW11 Supercharger towed into Zebra today . Completely immersed by the King tide and flooding at Piha.
Whole car under water. There's 11 cars coming from Piha
Bloody Shame . It was a gold colored one. No details of what yard its going to yet Onehunga or Manukau or straight to the crusher

Having helped clean up in Kaikoura about 20 years ago after a flood went through the place, I'm guessing the reason will be that in an urban environment sewerage gets mixed with flood waters and thus anything and everything is condemned to be disposed of for health and safety reasons. It's simply a legal requirement designed to prevent the outbreak of some very nasty diseases.
Kaikoura's little museum, their school, half the town lost everything for that reason. So I'd imagine this was no different.
Damned shame about the AW though.
