rubber edging for bolt on panels
So in the past ive gone to para rubber for stuff like this but their far to over priced and I know kris and some others need the stuff too
If you have no idea what im talking about, its the thin black U channel rubber that the factory bigger side skirts come with and people put on their ZG bolt on wheel archs between the skirt/flare edge and the body
has anyone found a good cheap place to get this?
Last time I went to para they tryed to charge me $90 a square meter for cheap foam
When kevlar mat is $60-70
Needless to say I dont think my AW needs bullet proof foam

If you find a good source, I would be after some - my side skirts have none.
I was just planning on gumming up the gap with some white "carbond" bodykit silicone...

What does the profile look like? Any of these? http://www.raj.co.nz/pdfs/raj_rubbers.pdf
EDIT: This looks like the type of stuff. Not sure where you could buy it though and it's very expensive. http://www.trimlok.com/prod/Fender-Flar ... T_164.aspx

Re: rubber edging for bolt on panels
PCA044 would do
Yeah that other ones the fancy stuff, and yeah, not cheap haha
Ill call around some places that make furniture
I have seen it used on the edges of some stainless office furniture and im sure they'd only pay a couple dollars per meter
Like to think most of us garge our cars so weatherings not to much of an issue

I'm down. Although if there's not enough interest I'd be keen for 8-10m...

Re: rubber edging for bolt on panels
Yeah same long as I had my 4m I'm not fussed
Figure 4m would be enough to do the skirts and side bits of the aero tech lip
Could bring the rest down to chch next time I'm down wedge
