E153 to 2GR

For those who have done 2GR swaps, is anyone able to shed light on what needs to be done to mate an E153 to the 2GR?
I have the flywheel/clutch sorted but the bolt holes in the bellhousing don't seem to line up with the block at all. ('90 E153 bellhousing)
Any write ups online for this? I've scoured the net but not found much.

Hi mate, the early E153 gearbox bolt holes do not line up fully but the Gen3 on lines up without issues. You just have to put a helicoil in one hole for a full alignment.
