Re: Webmaster's Blog
I have a day off, so I know this isn't planned, but I'll update the forum software with a security patch. It should be pretty fast with < 5 min of downtime

Re: Webmaster's Blog
Finished the upgrade BTW. Also, I trust you'll find the forum a little more visually appealing. If there's something you can't find with the new look then feel free to post here.

Has taken me a little to get use to. Helps to reduce screen brightness as this view is much lighter.

I disagree with the above comments.
I think it looks cheap and crappy. Very basic, like the internet is brand new again. The emperor has no clothes. Just my opinion.

Re: Webmaster's Blog
I think the slight layout change is good, it's nice and modern. But the colour is a little horrific, I think this could be fixed if we could optionally enable a dark mode or similar. Is this something that could be added for us to enable? It's actually too bright for me, weirdly
I appreciate the effort though, it's always good to keep on adjusting as time moves on

Re: Webmaster's Blog
The current default, while yes quite a light style, still has high contrast, is well supported, and doesn't drastically alter the layout while still bringing the forum into the current decade (well more so than the old default which will forever look like peak 2005)
There should be enough options to find something you like, feel free to go back to the old default. viewtopic.php?f=9&p=152233#p152233

Re: Webmaster's Blog
Haha, I was just looking in the "display settings" and went nope, can't see any options. Global settings however, there is a dark mode.... okay I love this. I recommend this to everyone to be honest, it might just be me but I love to dark mode as much as I can, even my phone, it just looks so good. I'm very happy now

I did the same changing to a bright silver layout. Lots of choices to choose from which is a real improvement. Well done Michael!

Re: Webmaster's Blog
I usualy only look at the forum on my laptop which is what Ive based my previous comments on. I thought I'd have a look at it on my tablet and it isn't to bad using that.
I'll have a play around on my laptop tonight and find a colour that suits, sounds like thats a great function to be able to get something that suits each user. Thanks.

Re: Webmaster's Blog
Mknz kindly populated the Home Page section of 'The MR2' SW20 with the corrected, updated and additional information about the SW20. I felt that a page with information that questioned itself about how correct it was seemed out of place.
I have spoken with SW20 owners from all over the world to gather some of this information. It doesn't contain everything but a very good overview of differences between models of a few markets and some special models that were made.
Go here for the update. I know it's long but please take time to read it and share it.
https://mr2.org.nz/the-mr2/sw20
If anyone wants to verify the correctness of the AW11 and ZZW30 that would be excellent. I don't know enough about these models to do so. Happy to work with others to do so.

Yeah the price of having N themes installed is modifying N themes. I'll get to it
I also need to:
-manually upload the renewed SSL cert
-change the login button icon so it's not a power button
